Cary Hughes
Dr. Hughes graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2002 and practiced in Virginia before coming to Anderson. As owner of The Animal Hospital he focuses on managing the practice as well as good medicine. He is married with three young daughters and has a dog named Mavis.

Julie Mefford
Dr. Mefford is originally from Ohio but completed her undergraduate degree at Clemson and fell in love with this area. After graduating from The Ohio State University Veterinary School she returned with her husband to South Carolina. Dr. Mefford joined this practice in 2008 and has a focus in internal medicine. She enjoys running, half marathons, hiking, backpacking, kayaking and gardening. She and her husband share their home with their new baby daughter Olivia, and a lab mix named Luna and a rescue dog named Skylar.
Ellen Rundorff
Dr. Ellen has joined the staff at Liberty Highway as a part time veterinarian . She lives in Anderson with her husband Caleb and their three small children. Sometimes you can hear her sing on her way in to see her next patient. She enjoys camping with her family and making homeade Kombucha.

Head Receptionist
Donna is our head receptionist and has been with the practice since 2003. She tries to make sure every client’s experience is the best possible! She is married with four children, and she has one dog and one cat. She is a proud grandmother of 4 wonderful grandchildren, and loves to spend time with all of them .
Kristin Tillman
LVT Surgical Technician
Kristin is a licensed Veterinary Technician who graduated from Tri-County Technical College with an Associates degree in Health Science. Kristin loves working with clients and patients and veterinary medicine is a real passion for her. She lives with her husband, three children, one dog and two cats.
Lydia Molack
LVT Room Technician
Lydia is a Licensed Veterinary Technician who graduated from Tri County Technical College in May 2016 . She has two cats, Nisa and her rescue cat Elviar. In her spare time, Lydia loves to read hike and explore. She also enjoys spending time with her 15 month old niece.
Meghan Sullivan
Veterinary Assistant
Meghan is a veterinary assistant, and is in school presently studying to become a Veterinarian. She has a diabetic dog Matches, and a cat named Theo. Meghan spends a lot of time studying, and in her spare time she loves to hike , explore and scuba dive.
